Saved per scene:
Ctrl+[0-9] stores the current selection.
[0-9] reselects the saved group.

Saved globally:
Ctrl+Shift+[0-9] will save the NodePaths of the current selection.
Shift+[0-9] will attempt to select nodes in the current scene that match the saved NodePaths.
